Sidecar Slider Bar

Sidecar Slider Bar has been a downtown Farmington fixture since 2017, independently owned and operated by longtime restaurant industry veteran Scott Pelc as the second location of a small Michigan slider-bar concept that’s since grown to ten spots. The whole menu runs on an a la carte slider format — beef, turkey, salmon, pulled pork, perch, lamb — so you build your own combination rather than committing to a single entrée, alongside a genuinely solid cocktail list and 18 taps that lean Michigan craft beer.

The room goes for a throwback sports-bar look — black-and-white tile, reclaimed wood — and stays lively late, with the kitchen open until close and Tuesday trivia nights that have built a real regular crowd. Pelc has said he was drawn to the location specifically for its spot on Grand River in the heart of downtown Farmington, and it shows in how naturally it fits the block.
