Noori Pocha is the rare neighborhood spot with a genuine national profile: the Korean gastropub landed on The New York Times’s 2024 list of the fifty best restaurants in America, which is not a sentence you get to write about many corners of 14 Mile and Main. Run by the Kwon family as a companion to their wildly popular Noori Chicken, the pocha nails the Seoul-late-night vibe — neon signage, a projector looping walks through Korean streets, call buttons at every table — and backs it up with the food: outstanding Korean fried chicken, spicy rice cakes, and shareable plates meant to be worked through slowly with a group.

It’s a small space that runs busy (the takeout line for the chicken side is its own landmark), so plan accordingly.
