Everyone kept telling us the same thing: “You gotta try Celina’s for wings.” So we finally did, and then we kept going back, which is the only review that really counts. They didn’t steer us wrong. The wings are the main event (the kitchen says it goes through more than 13,000 a week, and on a game day you believe it), with a good variety to work through. The rest of the menu pulls its weight too: sliders, burgers, sandwiches, calzones, pizza. It’s bar food, just elevated a notch past what it needs to be. The salmon BLT was the sleeper hit.
There are TVs on just about every sightline, which is how Celina’s became our go-to sports bar for the days we want football, wings and a few bevies without hosting it ourselves. Service comes with a smile. We’ve sat inside and out, and the dog-friendly patio is the move on a perfect-weather day, even if it does overlook 11 Mile. Parking’s easy, too, with a lot on each side of the building. Turns out the Madison Heights locals were right.
