The Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market is one of the metro’s more established and beloved markets, running every Saturday from May through October in the heart of one of Oakland County’s prettiest downtowns. Set near the corner of Third and Water streets, just off Main, it gathers Michigan farmers and a genuinely deep bench of artisan vendors — farm-fresh eggs, jams, gourmet pasta, artisan cheeses, small-batch coffee, baked goods, cut flowers, honey, and more. It’s the kind of market where you go in for tomatoes and leave with dinner planned. Downtown Rochester wraps right around it with cafes, boutiques, and (in season) the famous Big Bright Light Show, so it’s easy to make a whole morning of it. A reliably excellent, vendor-rich market in a walkable, picture-perfect setting.
