Some restaurants are meals; Lelli’s is an occasion. Owned and run by the same family since 1939, this old-world Northern Italian steakhouse does dinner the way they used to — the full six-course European procession, from the antipasto tray through zuppa, insalata, and pasta to the main event, finished with spumoni. The mains are the stuff of legend: a filet mignon people have been driving in for across generations, and a chateaubriand carved tableside with glazed carrots, creamed spinach, and au gratin potatoes. There’s a tableside Caesar, too, because of course there is.

The room is unapologetically classic — nostalgic, a little theatrical, the kind of “they don’t build them like this anymore” space that’s perfect for an anniversary, a milestone, or a night when you want to be taken care of. Valet out front, a full bar, private rooms for the big celebrations. Set your expectations for grand-occasion, not quick-and-trendy, and it delivers.
