Zestia Greek Street Food

Warren’s Greek options run mostly to the fast-casual end, and Zestia is the pick of them — a build-your-own Greek street-food spot (formerly Estia) that started as a food truck voted the metro’s best and grew into a small local trio, with the Warren counter on 12 Mile. The format is Chipotle-but-Greek: move down the line building a gyro, a pita, or a grain bowl over rice pilaf or a lentil-and-quinoa base, choosing shaved lamb, grilled chicken, fire-roasted pork belly, or falafel, then piling on house-made tzatziki, spicy feta, garlic sauce, and their “Freaky Greeky” mayo. The pita’s pressed fresh in-house, portions are generous, and it’s genuinely built for the way people eat now — halal, keto, and vegan-friendly, quick, and open late. It won’t replace a sit-down taverna night in Greektown, but for a fast, fresh, actually-good Greek lunch on the east side, it delivers. On our list as Warren‘s go-to gyro.
