Downtown Milford’s Main Street has a little bit of everything, and Sayulita is its Mexican-and-margaritas anchor — a colorful, festive room that stays busy for good reason. The draw is the whole package: a genuinely comprehensive menu (street tacos, fajitas, burritos, big taco salads, plenty of vegetarian options), house chips and salsa that arrive gratis, and one of the longest bars in this part of the county, where they clearly know their way around a tequila pour. The house margaritas are locally famous for being enormous and made with real fruit juice — the kind of thing that turns a walk down Main Street into a two-hour dinner. There’s a patio for warm nights and a warm, attentive staff that regulars single out. It’s casual, reasonably priced, and squarely walkable to all the downtown shops, which makes it an easy call for a family fiesta, a group night, or a margarita-first date. On our list as the go-to for tacos and a very generous cocktail in Milford.
