Finders Keepers Vintage & Vinyl

Some shops you walk into for one thing and leave with three you didn’t know existed — Finders Keepers is built for exactly that. This husband-and-wife vintage-and-vinyl store has been a Plymouth fixture since 2011, and it’s the good kind of cluttered: crates of excellent-condition records (the focus is early used pressings you won’t turn up in the bins everywhere else), walls of original and early-print rock posters, and a magpie’s hoard of like-new vintage from the ’50s through the ’90s — clothing, hats, jewelry, cameras, sunglasses, kitsch, books, the works. Owner Matt is a genuine enthusiast (he doesn’t sell online, so the good stuff lives here on the shelves rather than on eBay), and there’s a lovely wrinkle: his wife Kamie runs a little by-appointment hair salon tucked right inside. It’s a browse-for-an-hour, lose-track-of-time kind of place — the platonic ideal of a rainy-afternoon detour or a treasure hunt with a friend, and an easy add-on to a Saturday morning at the Plymouth Farmers Market down by Kellogg Park. New to our radar (they found us first, actually), and exactly the sort of independent, only-in-Plymouth spot we love. On our list.
