The Brighton Farmers’ Market is a perfect match for one of Livingston County’s most charming downtowns. Held Saturday mornings (rain or shine) in the city’s municipal lot on North First Street, it runs May through October and brings together local farmers, florists, bakers, and crafters, with a nice artisan focus alongside the produce and plants. The real magic is the setting: Brighton’s scenic Mill Pond, with its waterfront promenade, the Tridge, public sculptures, and the Imagination Station playground, is right there — so a market run easily turns into a whole downtown morning. Cap it off at one of Brighton’s downtown restaurants and you’ve got a model small-town Saturday.
