Ann Arbor Farmers Market

Our Take

The Ann Arbor Farmers Market is a genuine institution — it’s been connecting Michigan growers with shoppers for over a century, right in the city’s beloved, brick-lined Kerrytown district. With 75-plus stalls, it’s one of the most abundant markets in the state: fresh produce (including loads of organic and heirloom options), annuals and perennials, native Michigan plants, herbs, honey, maple syrup, baked goods, cheeses, and more. It runs Wednesdays and Saturdays from May through December, then scales to Saturdays-only January through April, so it’s a true year-round resource. Surrounded by Kerrytown’s shops, eateries, and the famous Zingerman’s nearby, it’s the anchor of one of the best food-and-stroll mornings in all of southeast Michigan. If you’re already coming to Ann Arbor, build the day around it.
