Aretée has been Olga Tecos’s spa in Grosse Pointe Woods since 2006 — she named it for her Greek heritage and built the space around high ceilings and a sense of spaciousness that shows up most clearly in the group-party setup. This is the spa to book if you’re organizing something for a crowd: it’s hosted over a thousand spa parties in its history for everyone from the Junior League and GM Executive Women to bachelorette parties and church groups, and the back room comes with a fridge, real dishware, wine glasses, and a couch to actually sit on between mini-services.

The individual treatment menu is broad too — 16 therapists across more than 30 services, from hot stone massage to reflexology to a cleansing back treatment most spas don’t bother offering — but the group-event infrastructure is genuinely the differentiator. Bring your own bottle, and the spa handles the glassware, ice, and snack logistics.
