Berkley Farmers Market

Our Take

After more than a decade away, the Berkley Farmers Market made a welcome return, and it fits the city’s “retro feel, metro appeal” personality to a tee. Set along 12 Mile in the heart of downtown Berkley, it’s a seasonal, community-driven market where local farmers and makers turn out with produce, baked goods, plants, and handmade goods. It runs from early summer into late October, and because it’s right on Berkley’s walkable main strip, it pairs naturally with a coffee, a bite, or a browse through the downtown shops. It’s the kind of small, spirited market that feels like the whole neighborhood showed up — which, on a good day, it more or less did.
