Green Lantern Pizza

Our Take

When the beloved old Sila restaurant closed after 50-plus years on Twelve Mile, Berkley got Green Lantern in its place — and the town adjusted quickly. The brand’s been “King of Pepperoni” since 1955, and this location does both styles that matter here: the crispy-edged Detroit-style square and the thin-cut round, plus subs, salads, and burgers that pair with beer. The remodel turned a dated room into a bright, comfortable one with a full bar, sports on the TVs, a roll-up door to the patio, and trivia nights midweek.

It’s a proper neighborhood pizzeria-and-bar — easy with kids, easy with a group, easy to linger in. We have it on our list as Berkley’s go-to for a family-friendly pizza night that can double as a casual hang. Get a square, grab a booth, and stay for trivia if it’s a Tuesday.
